A price gap between two venues is a discrepancy, not a guaranteed return. Settlement differences — two contracts can look like the same question but settle on different references (for example, a Binance high versus a venue's own index), so they may not resolve identically. Trading fees on both venues reduce any net return. Liquidity limits mean you may not be able to fill your order at the quoted price. Price movement — gaps can close within seconds, and the prices shown are stamped as of the time they were read, not the current instant.
